Terms & Conditions
IMPORTANT: Carefully review each section of this agreement. Indicate your understanding and acceptance by placing a check mark beside each term and condition.
Terms & Conditions
1. Payment - Payment is due once your Vendor Agreement is approved. An invoice with payment options will be provided. Failure to pay on time may result in losing your table or a change in table placement.
2. Cancellation Policy - All fees are non-refundable, even if the vendor cancels.
3. Table Sharing - Sharing your table with other vendors is not allowed.
4. Product Display - Only approved items may be displayed on your table. Unapproved items must be removed during the event.
5. Power Supply - Power is limited and available by request. Vendors must bring their own extension cords, which must be taped down for safety. Power is not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance.
6. Sales and Payments - Square machines and other electronic payment systems are allowed. The Kensington Community League does not handle or take responsibility for cash transactions. Vendors must bring their own cash floats and manage all sales.
7. Set-up and Tear Down - Vendors are responsible for setting up and packing away their products. The space must be left clean and in its original condition.
8. Closing Time - Vendors may not pack up or leave before 4 p.m. Early tear down may lead to a ban from future markets.
9. Cleanliness - Garbage bins will be provided. Vendors must keep their table and surrounding area clean and properly dispose of waste after tear down.
10. Social Media - Vendors are encouraged to promote the event on social media. Further details will be provided after approval.
11. Prohibited Items - Open flames and harmful items are not allowed in the venue.
12. Prohibited Substances - Vendors may not possess or consume alcohol, illegal drugs, or controlled substances at the venue. Any violation will result in removal.
13. Smoking Policy - Smoking, including marijuana, is prohibited on venue property. If you wish to smoke, please step outside and away from the building.
14. Exhibit Standards - All exhibits must be family-friendly, non-discriminatory, and align with the market's theme. The Event Coordinator has the final decision on what is appropriate.
15. Set-up Time - Vendors can set up Friday evening from 6:30pm-8pm or starting at 8 a.m. on the event day. Sales must be ready to start by 10 a.m.
16. Table and Chair Allocation - Each vendor will receive either an 8-foot rectangular table or a 5-foot round table and one chair. Additional chairs are available upon request.
17. Additional Equipment - There is no space for extra tables, racks, or shelving. Vendors should plan their displays within the approved setup guidelines.
18. Liability Waiver - Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Kensington Community League and event organizers from any claims, losses, or liabilities related to their participation.
19.Event Date - The Spring Market will take place on Saturday, April 25th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
