The Kensington Hall
The Kensington Community League offers a great space for rent, suitable for various functions such as weddings, birthdays, dances, family reunions, and more. If you’re interested in securing a date, please review our rental rates and information. Once you’ve filled out our rental form, the Rental Coordinator will get back to you as soon as possible.
Rental Rates
Kensington Community Hall offers weekday rates, single weekend day rentals, and a full-weekend rental option.
Access to audio/visual equipment is also available.
- $500 Cash Damage/Cleaning Deposit Required
- Member Discount: 30% discount if you’ve held your membership for two years.
Rental Requirements
Kensington Community League requires renters to meet the following requirements:
- Liability Insurance: Renters must purchase liability insurance to protect both the host(s) of the event and the Kensington Community League in the event of damage, injury, or death.
- Liquor License: The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) requires that renters hosting an event with alcohol must obtain a liquor license/permit.

Seating Capacity: 208 people
Hall Rental Includes
- Dinner plates, cups, saucers, side plates (dessert), cutlery, salt and pepper shakers, water jugs
- Two (2) 100-cup coffee urns, two (2) 36-cup coffee urns
- Wine glasses available for rental at $0.45 per glass (self-washed)
- Clean-up is the responsibility of the renter (all cleaning supplies are provided)
- Set-up and take-down are the responsibility of the renter
- Renters are required to provide and use tablecloths
