Board Meeting October 5th
Grand Trunk will be closed from November 6th to Beginning of January 2024. Area One is working on asking if the Friday Night and Sunday Afternoon Community Swim times for Grand Trunk will be honoured at O’Leary. Aquafit will be offered at O’Leary on Wednesdays from 9:00am to 10:00am.
Community league Day Thank you for everyone that attended Community League Day. We are still looking at final numbers for Playground fundraising but it is estimated at around $2,500!
We are still looking for applications for our Hall Rental Coordinator and Ice Rink Master for the year. See more information Here and we look forward to seeing you apply if you want to get involved in the league and get paid for it too! We want to encourage the community that even though the application process is a bit different as we need to hire a contractor and not an employee, we do not want to let that deter you from submitting a proposal to take on the role and how much you will charge for. We can help work through a proposal to come to a fair agreement.
Upcoming events Save the Date for the Winter Market November 18th! Planning is still ongoing, hoping to have a packed house with Santa Claus for pictures. More details coming soon. Please check out the Facebook Event page for up to date details.

Buildings and Grounds We had a water leak on the property that required emergency maintenance. Thank you to Darrell for all his hard work dealing with the contractors and cleaning up after with such short notice.
Missed Opportunities
Due to vacancies on the board and limited volunteer commitment, we have had to turn down some league opportunities
-We will not engage the Oilers Group for running fundraisers at Oil Kings Games
-We will not take advantage of discount Zoominescence tickets for the community.
-We will be canceling the Halloween party this year. Check out nearby community Leagues as Calder, Wellington and Greisbach are all running special events this year,
-Our Membership Director will be on holidays this fall so expect some delay in membership registration and delivery between mid October to Mid December.
